In the past few years, the shopping industry has become flooded with loyalty cards. They have become a tool for supermarkets to win you over for your weekly shop and a way for shops like Boots to make you feel like all your purchases are justified- ‘what do you mean 40p in points for a £10 foundation isn’t a good enough reason to buy it??’. I must have every one of these under the sun and use them admittedly more than my bank balance would like me to, but how beneficial actually are these elusive cards?
